You get one hour to escape from Wonderland. (Groups of 2 or 3 people get 70 minutes.) Please keep in mind that you should arrive 15 minutes before the start. After the game, we usually chat for a bit and take a photo. In total, you’ll be busy for about an hour and a half.

We usually have 75 minutes of “switching time” between two groups. This time is needed to debrief the group that played, reset the room, and welcome and instruct the next group. If two (or more) groups are coming back-to-back and are part of the same party, we can shorten the switching time to about 30 minutes.

Unfortunately, there is only one Wonderland. Therefore, only one group (of up to 6 people) can play the escape room at a time. Would you like to play with two teams at once? The two teams can be split between Escape from Wonderland and other nearby escape rooms, such as the Kruithuisje, Virtuorium, or Pieterskerk. All are within a 10-minute walk.

No, 6 people is the maximum number of players at once, due to safety and to ensure everyone has a good time. If you want to come with more people, we can split the group into smaller ones, which can play one after the other.

If you come with multiple groups, some will have to wait for their turn. You can wait at the escape room itself. We have a very cozy reception area with plenty of drinks and snacks available. There’s also a large selection of games and puzzles to pass the time. Additionally, we are right in the center of Leiden, so there are many nice places to eat and drink nearby.

Our escape room is quite challenging. According to our statistics, about 40% of groups manage to escape.

Our escape room is primarily designed for adults (ages 15 and up). The puzzles are tough, and it can sometimes be difficult for children to keep track and make connections. Children younger than 15 can play the escape room with an adult supervisor. We recommend a minimum age of 10.

There’s also a shuttle bus that can drop you off right at the door.

Unfortunately, the game is not wheelchair accessible. However, people with limited mobility can still play the room. We also have a folding chair available that can be taken into Wonderland.

Yes, absolutely. There’s no climbing or crawling required in Wonderland.

We’ve thought carefully about safety in our escape room. When you play, the escape room door will close behind you. Inside the room, there are 2 emergency buttons that can be used to open the door. The game host monitors the game through a camera system and will intervene quickly if necessary. There are sufficient and certified fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting will activate if the power goes out. Groups who prefer the escape room door to remain open can request this in advance.

Cancellations or changes can be made free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.
For cancellations or changes within 48 hours, a fee of €35 will be charged.
For cancellations or changes less than 24 hours in advance, we will charge half of the reservation amount. The other half will be credited to you in the form of a voucher.
